Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation in India-China relations, highlighting that both nations should progress together instead of competing. He appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent comment describing India-China ties as a ‘synchronized dance’ between the elephant and the dragon, calling it the right approach.
He stated that as two major developing nations, India and China should foster communication, mutual respect, and collaboration rather than rivalry. The Chinese spokesperson reiterated that both countries have a historical tradition of maintaining friendly dialogue over two millennia, which should be carried forward to shape the future.


Modi Used the Term ‘Tug Social’

During an interview with an international media outlet, he explained that instead of engaging in a ‘tug of war,’ India prefers a ‘tug social’ approach—promoting cooperation over conflict.
