Steps to Register Your Grievance with the EPFO

 

If you are facing issues like Manoj Singh’s or have any other concerns related to your EPF account, the EPFO Grievance Management System (EPFiGMS) is an effective way to file complaints. Here’s a step-by-step guide to register your grievance:

Step 1: Visit the EPF Grievance Management System

Step 2: Select Your Status

  • Choose the applicable status option: whether you are an EPF member, EPS pensioner, employer, or another category.
  • Click on “No” if you do not have a grievance ID or previous complaint reference.

Step 3: Enter Required Information

  • Provide your UAN, pension payment order (PPO) number, or establishment number along with other personal details.
  • Click on “Get Details” to retrieve your account information.

Step 4: Verify UAN and Personal Details

  • Your UAN and other personal information will be displayed. Check all the details for accuracy.
  • Scroll down and click on “Get OTP” to receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.

Step 5: OTP Verification

  • Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and click on the “Submit” button.

Step 6: Select Grievance Type

  • Under the grievance details section, choose the type of grievance you want to file.
  • Select from options such as withdrawal, transfer, settlement issues, or KYC update.

Step 7: Provide Additional Information

  • Provide detailed descriptions of your grievance in the text box.
  • Upload supporting documents such as bank account details, PAN card, Aadhaar card, or employer correspondence if required.

Step 8: Add the Grievance

  • After entering all the details, click on the “Add” button to confirm the grievance.

Step 9: Final Submission

  • Your grievance will be listed under the “Grievance List” section. Click on the “Submit” button to register your complaint officially.

Step 10: Receive a Registration Number

  • A registration number will be sent to you via email and SMS.
  • Use this number to track the status of your grievance on the EPFO portal.

Tips for Successful Grievance Resolution

  • Be Thorough with Information: Ensure that all the information provided is accurate and up to date.
  • Regularly Check the Status: Use the registration number to track the progress of your grievance.
  • Follow Up with Regional Offices: If your issue remains unresolved, consider visiting your EPFO regional office.
