High Court to Archive Humorous Moments

In a novel initiative, the Delhi High Court has launched a new IT platform to document and preserve unique moments from the courtroom, including humorous exchanges between judges and lawyers. This initiative aims to retain the light-hearted moments and the cultural essence of the judiciary.

Named "Humour in Court," the project was inaugurated by the Chief Justice and aims to serve as a digital repository for recording notable courtroom interactions. It will also feature important case records, historical verdicts, and memorable arguments presented by lawyers over the years.

The platform will include audio and video clips, ensuring that the lighter side of courtroom proceedings is available for future generations. It is a part of a broader plan to enhance the transparency and accessibility of court records, bridging the gap between legal proceedings and public understanding. The initiative underscores the High Court's commitment to making the judicial process more relatable and preserving its heritage through digital means.
