Benefit: Temporary Workers Can Access All Schemes Through a Single Portal
The Ministry of Labour and Employment has launched the "E-Shram One-Stop Solution," making it easier for temporary workers to avail benefits of government welfare schemes through a unified platform.

New Delhi: In a move to simplify access to government welfare schemes for temporary workers in the unorganized sector, the Ministry of Labour and Employment has introduced the E-Shram One-Stop Solution. Through this portal, workers will be able to register for various social security and welfare schemes all in one place.
Union Labour Minister Bhupender Yadav stated that the E-Shram portal will enable millions of workers from the unorganized sector to connect to schemes such as social security, insurance, and pension benefits. Additionally, the ministry has collaborated with various departments to ensure that workers receive benefits of multiple schemes without needing to visit multiple offices.

Benefits and Features:
•    30 crore workers in the unorganized sector will benefit from this facility.
•    Currently, 3 crore workers are registered on the E-Shram portal.
•    The portal offers information on schemes like:
o    National Food Security Card
o    Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA)
o    National Social Assistance Program
o    National Pension System
o    Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan and Atal Pension Yojana

E-commerce Companies to be Included
The ministry also aims to connect workers associated with e-commerce platforms to the portal. Workers from these companies can now benefit from government schemes as they register on the E-Shram platform.

Registration Pace and Impact
Since the portal's launch on August 26, 2021, between 60,000 to 90,000 workers register daily. The portal has significantly boosted workers’ access to essential social security schemes.
This initiative aims to streamline and expand access to social security, ensuring that temporary workers across sectors can benefit from government schemes in an organized and convenient manner.
