Five Illegal Factories Sealed in Loni’s Rahul Garden Colony

A joint administrative team carried out an enforcement drive against illegal factories allegedly causing pollution in Rahul Garden Colony, Loni. During the operation, five unauthorised factories were sealed and their electricity connections were disconnected.

 

The action was taken following complaints from residents of Behta Hajipur village. According to the complaints, illegal factories operating in Rahul Garden Colony were causing pollution in the area, creating inconvenience and concern among local residents.

 

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Deepak Sipanwal stated that a joint team was formed to act on the complaints. The team included Naib Tehsildar Rati Gupta, Assistant Engineer of GDA Vikas Kumar, municipal employees, electricity department officials, police department personnel and other concerned authorities.

 

After reaching the spot, the joint team inspected the area and took action against five illegal factories operating in Rahul Garden Colony. The factories were sealed and their power supply was also disconnected to prevent further operation.

 

The SDM said that, so far, 105 illegal factories operating in the Loni area have been sealed through similar joint action by officials. He added that illegal factories causing pollution in Loni will not be allowed to operate.

 

Officials also indicated that the joint enforcement drive against unauthorised and polluting industrial units will continue in the future. The administration has maintained that strict action will be taken against such establishments in order to control pollution and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
