Get Information About PM Internship Through the App

The Central Government has launched a mobile application (app) for the Pradhan Mantri Internship Yojana.
On Monday, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated the application. On this occasion, she encouraged youth to participate in the internship program so that more young individuals across the country can receive skill development training. She also urged Members of Parliament to actively promote the program among young people.

Internship Opportunities Available on the App
Through this app, all details related to internships will be easily accessible. Students can also apply for internships directly through the app.
•    Eligibility criteria, sectors, and companies offering internships can be checked through the app.
•    The PM Internship Yojana was launched in 2024, and during the first phase, over 1.27 lakh internship opportunities were provided to students.
•    The second phase started in January 2025, offering 1.18 lakh internship opportunities through 327 companies.

The app can be easily downloaded from the Google Play Store.

Internship Benefits and Financial Assistance
•    Under this scheme, youth are given five months of internship.
•    The government provides ₹4,500 per month as a stipend.
•    Companies also contribute an additional ₹500 per month as CSM (Corporate Social Responsibility) support.
The initiative aims to equip young individuals with industry-relevant skills and help them secure better job opportunities.
