Government to Provide Interest-Free Loans of Up to INR 10 Lakh to Youth for Becoming Entrepreneurs: Yogi
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the state government is introducing schemes to economically empower the youth. The government will provide interest-free loans of up to INR 10 lakh to young entrepreneurs to help them establish their businesses and make them self-reliant. This was announced by the Chief Minister during the inauguration of a bottling plant established with an investment of INR 1,170 crore in Gorakhpur.
The Chief Minister mentioned that the government is committed to supporting the youth in every possible way to help them build successful ventures. The youth entrepreneurship scheme will play a significant role in creating job opportunities and boosting self-employment in the state.
Zero Interest Policy for Loans to Entrepreneurs
Under the scheme, the youth will receive loans without having to pay any interest for setting up their businesses. Those who have innovative business ideas but lack the necessary financial resources will be the main beneficiaries of this scheme. The government aims to make the state a hub for entrepreneurial activities and provide local employment opportunities to reduce migration.
Job Opportunities Close to Home
The Chief Minister stated that many youth had to migrate to other states in search of jobs in the past. Now, with the establishment of industries like this bottling plant, the government’s focus is to create job opportunities locally so that youth can find employment close to their homes. The bottling plant in Gorakhpur alone has provided direct and indirect employment to over 5,000 people.
Government’s Support for Youth
Chief Minister Yogi said that previously youth had to go out of the state in search of jobs, but now job opportunities are being created right in their hometowns. The state government is actively promoting the startup ecosystem to encourage young entrepreneurs. A single window system has been introduced to make it easier for youth to access financial and administrative support for setting up their ventures.
