MSME Industrial Areas to Be Developed in 11 Districts Including Gautam Buddh Nagar
To boost investment in Uttar Pradesh, new MSME industrial areas will be established in 11 districts, including Gautam Buddh Nagar. The Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has prepared a blueprint for these industrial zones.
According to the proposed plan, industrial areas will be developed over 764.31 acres, providing 872 industrial plots for entrepreneurs.
To further accelerate growth, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is launching several initiatives. In Sector 28 of Greater Noida, YEIDA will soon begin work on a multi-storey flatted factory complex spread over 38,665 square meters. The project will cost ₹125 crore, with a target completion time of 24 months. The complex will offer modern industrial amenities.
Master Plan Ready for Execution
The master plan includes multi-storey factory units with state-of-the-art facilities for small and medium industries.
Land Allocation Across Districts
According to the proposal, industrial land will be developed in several districts:
- Kushinagar: 59 acres
- Dubari (Mau): 172 acres
- Lalitpur: 9.8 acres
- Mahoba: 37 acres
- Prayagraj: 39.7 acres
- Mainpuri: 8 acres
- Hathras: 6.8 acres
- Etah: 10 acres
- Sambhal: 18.64 acres
This initiative is expected to significantly boost industrial activity, create employment opportunities, and attract new investments in the MSME sector across the state.
