British Couple Steals Back Their Own Car from Thieves

 

In Britain, after their car was stolen, a couple turned into amateur detectives and managed to steal their vehicle back from the thieves themselves.

Mia Ford-Perry and Mark Simpson’s black Jaguar E-Pace was stolen earlier this month from Brook Green in London. When they informed the police, they were told the department was too busy to respond immediately.

Determined to recover their car, the couple decided to search for it themselves. Using a hidden immobilizer and an AirTag locator installed in the vehicle, they successfully traced it to a deserted alley in Epsom.

There, they found their car, although the thieves had damaged some of its internal components.

 

Perry later remarked that she now plans to hide AirTag trackers in all her belongings so she can track down any future thieves herself.
