Woman Finds White Diamond While Walking, Plans to Make Engagement Ring

Instead of spending money on buying a diamond ring for her engagement, a young woman ended up discovering one herself. After weeks of searching, she finally found a white diamond. Along with making her ring, this diamond will also cover her entire wedding expenses, as its value is estimated at ₹23 lakh (approx. $28,000).

According to New York Post, 31-year-old Madelyn from the U.S. was searching for diamonds at the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. Despite spending three weeks there, she had found nothing. But on Tuesday, 2 September 2025, while casually walking in the park, she stumbled upon a 2.30-carat white diamond.

Madelyn described it as a life-changing discovery that would cover the cost of her wedding. She said she had never seen a real diamond before and was stunned when she realized what she had found. Park authorities confirmed it was indeed genuine.

The diamond will now be crafted into her engagement ring, saving her about $5,500 (approx. ₹5 lakh) in expenses, and the remaining value will easily cover her wedding arrangements.
