World’s Tallest Building to Feature 154 Floors in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is constructing what will soon be the tallest building in the world, featuring a record-breaking 154 floors, surpassing all existing skyscrapers globally.
The Tower at Jeddah Economic City, also known as the Jeddah Tower, is expected to surpass the iconic Central Park Tower in New York, which currently has 98 floors and holds the title of the tallest residential building in the world. The Jeddah Tower, upon completion, will stand at over 1,800 feet, overtaking Dubai’s Burj Khalifa in height.
Massive Investment and Timeline
Initiated in 1994 and resumed multiple times over the years, the Jeddah Tower is part of a $525 million mega project aimed at transforming Saudi Arabia's skyline. The building is now expected to be completed by 2033.
The tower will house a total of 228 units, including 204 premium apartments, along with offices, luxury hotels, and entertainment zones. The entire project covers an area of 9,700 square feet and will offer cutting-edge amenities and futuristic architecture.
Symbol of Saudi Vision 2030
The skyscraper is a flagship component of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, a national initiative to diversify the economy, reduce oil dependency, and transform the kingdom into a global hub for tourism, real estate, and innovation.
Once completed, the 154-story marvel will not only redefine the urban skyline but also mark a technological and engineering milestone in human architecture.
