Adani Group to Enter Aviation Sector in Partnership with Bombardier
Canadian company Bombardier is eyeing the rapidly growing aviation market in India. To explore future investment opportunities, the company is in discussions with the Adani Group. An announcement regarding this partnership is expected soon.
On Tuesday, the company’s CEO, Eric Martel, met with Adani Group’s Chairman, Gautam Adani. Both parties stated that they are exploring opportunities in aircraft services and defence manufacturing in India. By 2027, India’s aviation sector is projected to become the third largest in the world. Currently, Indian companies have placed orders for 1,500 new aircraft. By 2042, India will require an additional 2,200 passenger aircraft.
In this context, the Adani Group is considering entering the passenger and defence aircraft manufacturing market, seeking new avenues for growth and development.
