Apple Launches Thinnest and Lightest iPhone Air Alongside iPhone 17 Series

Apple has unveiled its most lightweight and ultra-thin smartphone yet — the iPhone Air, measuring just 5.5 mm in thickness and weighing around 145 grams. The new device, introduced alongside the iPhone 17 series, represents a major leap in smartphone design, combining cutting-edge technology with a sleek, minimalist build.

 

The iPhone Air features a 6.6-inch display, a 24 MP front camera, and a 48 MP triple-lens rear camera system with ultra-wide capabilities. The device also boasts a titanium-aluminum body, 256 GB storage, and a 3149 mAh battery, offering enhanced performance in a compact form. Pre-bookings for the iPhone Air will begin on 19 September, with the expected price starting at over ₹1 lakh.

 

iPhone 17 Series Also Announced
Alongside the Air model, Apple launched the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The base model of iPhone 17 comes with a 6.3-inch ProMotion display, a 24 MP front camera, and a dual rear camera setup featuring 48 MP (wide) and 12 MP (ultra-wide) lenses. Other key features include 4 GB RAM, A19 Bionic chip, 2550 mAh battery, and 128 GB storage. The starting price for the base model is ₹89,900.

 

The top-tier models — iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max — feature even more advanced specifications, including enhanced camera systems, improved performance, and larger battery capacities. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is powered by a 5088 mAh battery and is priced starting at ₹1,64,900, while the iPhone 17 Pro starts at ₹1,24,900.

 

Apple has also introduced the AirPods 3 Pro with real-time translation features and a new Apple Watch Series 11, further expanding its ecosystem of devices. With these launches, Apple aims to redefine user experience with powerful hardware, innovative features, and a design that sets a new benchmark for premium smartphones.
