Buyers Left Without Basic Facilities Despite Paying Premium Prices for Flats in Siddharth Vihar
Residents of Siddharth Vihar are facing growing distress as builders allegedly neglect essential civic responsibilities, leaving flat owners deprived of basic facilities despite paying exorbitant prices for their homes. Complaints of poor construction, clogged sewage lines, and waterlogging in basements have become increasingly common.
Residents allege that builder negligence has led to sewer water flooding the parking basements. This not only poses a risk to vehicles but also creates a health hazard. Despite repeated complaints, the builders have failed to take any concrete action, forcing residents to endure unlivable conditions.
Several buildings have begun to show structural cracks and wall damage just a few years after possession, raising serious safety concerns. Moreover, the drainage and sanitation infrastructure is severely lacking, with some societies reportedly dumping sewage water directly into open areas.
Buyers who invested their life savings to secure modern and comfortable housing are now questioning how they’re supposed to sustain a normal life under such deteriorating conditions. Women, children, and senior citizens are especially vulnerable in these unsafe environments.
Residents are urging the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) and other relevant agencies to take swift action against these irresponsible builders. They demand strict accountability, improved infrastructure, and proper monitoring to ensure no more families fall victim to such negligence.
