Cyber Headquarters to Be Established in Uttar Pradesh: Yogi

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that Uttar Pradesh will soon set up a Cyber Headquarters to tackle modern challenges of cybercrime and security. He said the state must be fully prepared to deal with emerging threats, and cyber police stations have already been established in every district.

Mobile Forensic Vans for All Districts

The Chief Minister also announced that all 75 districts will soon be equipped with mobile forensic vans capable of conducting on-site tests of blood, semen, and other samples. This will greatly speed up investigations, particularly in sensitive cases.

Use of Technology for Security

Speaking at the International Forensic Science Summit at the Forensic Institute in Lucknow, Yogi Adityanath stressed that technology must be leveraged to solve security-related challenges. He highlighted the government’s efforts to modernize law enforcement and ensure that even the most complex cases are resolved swiftly.

Strengthening Forensic Infrastructure

In 2017, Uttar Pradesh had only four forensic laboratories. Today, under the current government, the number has increased to 18 laboratories, with thousands of cases being resolved each year. The state now handles 3,500 court testimonies and processes nearly 8,000 reports daily.

Nationwide Importance

The CM emphasized that India, given its size and population, must stay ahead in the cyber war. He referred to global conflicts where cyber technology played a decisive role and added that Uttar Pradesh must set an example in using forensic and digital tools to deliver justice.
