Delay in Salaries of Hundreds of Employees Due to HDFC Bank’s Negligence; Irresponsible Behavior of Bank Manager
Noida, Sector 63: Due to the gross negligence of HDFC Bank, approximately 350 employees of a company located in Sector 62 are not receiving their salaries on time every month. Even though the company’s account is debited on the scheduled date, the salaries are not being transferred to employees’ accounts promptly, leading to widespread dissatisfaction among the staff.
When the company’s CMD, Mr. Satendra Singh, tried to contact the bank’s manager, Mr. Deepak Agrawal, the manager not only avoided answering the phone but also used inappropriate language during the conversation. The manager reportedly stated, “It is not my responsibility to ensure that everyone receives their salaries on time. Do whatever you want. If you have a problem, transfer your account to another bank. We have too many accounts, and we are unable to manage all of them.”
Moreover, the bank manager even went to the extent of saying, “You can complain to the Chairman if you want; it won’t affect me in any way.” Following this, the company registered several complaints through emails, but there was no response from the bank. The company alleges that the bank had promised all necessary services when the accounts were opened, but now, they are not even able to transfer salaries properly.
Mr. Satendra Singh stated that the delay in salary disbursement is affecting the company’s operations. He said, “Our employees are distressed due to not receiving their salaries on time, and this has a direct impact on their financial stability and work enthusiasm. We have repeatedly requested the bank to resolve the issue, but we have not received any satisfactory response.”
The company management is now planning to approach higher bank officials to ensure that such a situation does not arise in the future.
Appeal to Administration and Senior Bank Officials
The company has demanded a high-level investigation into the bank’s negligent and irresponsible behavior and hopes that the bank will consider the employees’ grievances and come up with a prompt solution.
This incident has once again raised questions about the reliability of banking services and has highlighted the inconvenience faced by customers.
