Make Single Window System Efficient and Transparent: Yogi Adityanath

 

In a strong push to attract industrial investment in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to enlist expert services and enhance the effectiveness of the state’s investment facilitation framework.

The Chief Minister emphasized that Invest UP should function as a model investment promotion and facilitation agency. He stressed the importance of making the Single Window System both effective and transparent to streamline the investment process.

To ensure better outreach to global investors, Yogi Adityanath also instructed the establishment of coordination mechanisms with Indian embassies abroad.

Following the suspension of officer Abhishek Prakash over corruption charges, the Chief Minister conducted a review meeting at his residence on Tuesday to assess Invest UP’s performance.

During the meeting, CM Yogi stated that the current online single window system, while in place, still compels investors to approach various departments separately for approvals—highlighting the urgent need for regulatory reforms.

He added that by embracing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mantra of Reform, Perform, and Transform, Uttar Pradesh has, over the past eight years, emerged as the top investment destination in India.
