Prime Minister Welcomes Astronaut with a Warm Hug

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who recently returned from his space mission. PM Modi said that Shubhanshu’s achievements have made the entire nation proud.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s residence, where Modi warmly hugged Shubhanshu upon his arrival. The two had a long conversation, discussing Shubhanshu’s experiences in space, as well as topics related to science, technology, and future space missions.

 

Shubhanshu, wearing his astronaut uniform, presented the Prime Minister with the mission patch of Axiom-4 (AX-4) and the Indian Tricolour that he had taken with him to the International Space Station (ISS).

PM Modi expressed deep appreciation, noting that Shubhanshu’s contributions would inspire future generations of Indians to pursue excellence in space exploration and technology.

 

Shubhanshu had embarked on his mission to the ISS on June 29 and returned to Earth just a few days ago. His safe return and successful mission have been celebrated widely across India as a symbol of national pride and progress in space research.
