Trump Organization Earned ₹1,800 Crore from Indian Real Estate in 10 Years

The Trump Organization, owned by former U.S. President Donald Trump, has earned nearly ₹1,800 crore from its real estate ventures in India over the past decade, according to U.S. disclosure filings. The company operates multiple luxury real estate projects in major Indian cities, including Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, and Kolkata.

Trump Towers, which are high-end residential and commercial complexes, have been developed in partnership with Indian real estate firms under a brand-licensing model. The projects cater to wealthy buyers seeking premium properties associated with the Trump brand.

Since 2014, the Trump Organization has reportedly earned around ₹1,800 crore (approximately $220 million) from licensing fees and revenue sharing agreements with its Indian partners. The largest projects include:

  • Mumbai: Trump Tower located in Worli, featuring luxury apartments with prices running into several crores.
  • Pune: Trump Towers in Kalyani Nagar, developed in collaboration with Panchshil Realty.
  • Gurugram: Trump Tower offering high-end residences with exclusive amenities.
  • Kolkata: Trump Tower project developed with local partners, offering premium real estate in a prime location.

In addition to sales revenue, the Trump Organization has earned significant income from brand licensing fees, which allow Indian developers to use the Trump name and design elements in their projects.

Real estate analysts note that India is one of the largest overseas markets for the Trump brand, with demand for luxury properties continuing to grow despite economic fluctuations. The association with an international brand name is seen as a major selling point among affluent Indian buyers.
