UP Schools to Remain Closed on February 12 & 26:

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council has officially announced holidays for all basic and primary schools across the state on February 12 and February 26, 2025.
    •    February 12: Schools will remain closed in honor of Sant Ravidas Jayanti, a revered occasion celebrated widely in the state.
    •    February 26: Schools and banks will be shut to observe Maha Shivratri, as per the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1981.

While banking services at physical branches will be unavailable on Maha Shivratri, digital banking services, including internet banking and ATMs, will continue to function normally.

Parents, students, and residents are advised to take note of these holidays to avoid any inconvenience. Additionally, those needing to complete banking transactions should plan accordingly, considering the closure on February 26.
