Workshop on Kinesiotherapeutic Taping Held in Ghaziabad, Attracts Participants from Across India

In a significant step toward promoting advanced physical therapy techniques, a one-day certified workshop on Kinesiotherapeutic Taping was organized on Sunday at the Shishodia Active Life and Physiotherapy Centre, located in Avantika, Ghaziabad. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from physiotherapists, healthcare professionals, and physiotherapy students from across the country.

 

The workshop was led by renowned physiotherapist Dr. Meenakshi Shishodia, who holds a diploma in Orthopedic Medicine (Belgium), is a Cyriax Certified Practitioner, and an Advanced Pelvic Floor Rehab Specialist. Dr. Shishodia delivered an in-depth training session, covering the principles and techniques of kinesiotherapeutic taping along with its applications in various clinical conditions.

 

Hands-On Learning Emphasized

What set this workshop apart was its strong practical approach. Alongside theoretical knowledge, participants were trained through real case studies and live practical demonstrations. They gained hands-on experience in taping techniques for orthopedic, neurological, gynecological, and sports-related conditions. Special sessions were also conducted on facial taping and posture correction—areas gaining prominence in modern physiotherapy.

 

The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, during which participants not only got answers to their queries but also exchanged insights and experiences with one another, fostering peer-to-peer learning.

Speaking at the conclusion of the event, Dr. Shishodia remarked,
