Vande Bharat’s Success Abroad: Several Countries, Including Canada, Express Interest in Purchasing the Trains

The day is not far when Vande Bharat trains will run on foreign tracks as well, as global demand for these trains is increasing rapidly. Countries like Canada, Chile, and Malaysia have shown interest in importing Vande Bharat trains from India.

According to sources, Vande Bharat trains are already well-known in India, but their biggest attraction for foreign buyers is their cost-effectiveness. The trains produced in other countries typically cost between INR 160-180 crore each, while the Vande Bharat trains are manufactured for INR 120-130 crore per unit in India. This cost advantage, combined with the train’s high speed and energy efficiency, makes it a highly competitive product for export.
